A little story on how I got into kart racing:
I have actually known about the sport for a while just never really got into it. I saw a street race at Pismo beach,CA once and ever since I have wanted to race. And at the time I lived in the little town of Lompoc,ca (near Santa Barabra,CA) and my Dads friend bought a KT-100. He had it for about a year or so then sold it. We were going to buy it but I was to young to race it at the time. What's really strange is that about 2 years ago me and my cousin were talking about getting into kart racing, how it would be cool to race and maybe start are own racing team. But we thought it would never happen. Untill one day my cousin asked his dad if he could get a kart if he got good grades. Well he did and his dad took him to Emmick karts in Sacramento,CA and bought an Viper 2 KT-100, which is now my kart, he had it for about 2 months or so and bought an Emmick Venom and sold his "old kart" to me. We practiced and practiced throughout December and January so we can get some track time in before the 1st race in Febuary. We were so nervouse that day on the way to that track. But it's wierd once I got out onto the track during the 1st heat it I wasn't nervouse at all. I am kinda like that every race, untill I get onto the track because I never really know whats going to happen around the next corner.
