Stockton Motorplex Park is a 1/2 mile, 30-foot wide "Pedal to the Metal" sprint road course. Also incorporated into the east end is a 1/8 mile oval track. The entire east end of the track is banked at 15%. The sprint course is run in a counter-clockwise direction and with the inner connecting roads, there is a capability to run 13 different road course configurations!
With safety as the number one goal, there is incorporated pea-gravel catch pits set 6 ft. off the edge of the track with hay bales backing up the catch pits. Numerous red and yellow caution lights around the track control traffic.
Equipped with 32 stadium lights, the night racing should be exceptional, not to mention the 12 stadium lights in the pits. The scale house is equipped with a flush mounted in-ground digital platform scale. In the latter part of the year, we will have in operation a fully equipped snack bar serving high quality BBQ lunches and dinners. Housed in the same building will be a fully stocked souvenir stand!!!...
